Premature ejaculation is something that haunts many men. In simple terms, premature or rapid ejaculation refers to the event where a man ejaculates before he feels he’s ready to ejaculate. It’s far more prevalent than we think, in fact it’s the most commonly reported sexual problem for all the different ages. PE is definitely more common among younger men, perhaps because of their lack of experience or insecurity about sex.
Squeeze technique or Masters and Johnson Technique
The technique was pioneered by William H. Masters and Virginia E. Johnson – a research team that carried out path-breaking research into the human sexual response and the diagnosis and treatment of sexual dysfunctions. This is how it works:
When you are sexually excited and have an erect penis, squeeze the tip of the penis where the skin joins with the tip of the penis (frenulum). Use your thumb to squeeze the frenulum against your index finger. The squeeze has to be firm but not too painful and should last for only 10-15 seconds. For this technique to work, you should be able to feel the approaching point of inevitability (i.e. the point beyond which you can’t control ejaculation). Finally, when you’re about to reach that point, you or your partner can squeeze the tip of the penis, which will stop you from ejaculating.
